Two Journals in one! The first section of the Faith Journal traces the teaching and celebration of the seven Sacraments and the Catholic Faith. The second section of the Faith Journal (“Heart to heart with Jesus”) offers thought provoking questions and reflections on life and a growing relationship with Jesus.

This hardcover, concealed coil book is packed with prompting reflections and questions, tracing the child’s Catholic journey of Faith: the celebration of the Sacraments, the growing knowledge of the Catholic Faith through Catechism and Tradition and the child’s deepening personal relationship with Jesus.

Catechism references are included to look up specific questions, although there is a complete answer key in the back of the book for Catechism based questions.

First Holy Communion Scrapbooking!

Celebrate your child’s Journey of Faith!

This is our Journey with Jesus through Reconciliation and Holy Communion Craft Kit.
It includes 18 already researched, illustrated and formatted templates of prompting catechism and reflection questions.  As all our Cathletics Craft Kits, it comes with permission to photocopy for a whole class for one term or for all the kids in your family (who live with you) as they celebrate their First Sacraments!

There are suggestions for making your own scrapbook or using a store-bought scrapbook.  There are also instructions to create an Accordian Book.   In either case, there are plenty of catechism based questions, adorable cartoons drawn by 12 year old Kelly and prompting reflections about your child’s experience of the Sacraments, their prayerlife and their growing relationship with Jesus!

Work on a page a day, recording and reflecting about Baptism, the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Reconciliation, the Commandments, Sin, Holy Communion, the Mass, the Domestic Church, Qualities in my Family and Friendsall about Jesus, Mary and the Saints and reflections about Jesus and me and my prayerlife.

Review: Hand in Hand with Jesus by Karen in Mommyland Blog

I think the whole concept of this journal is pretty cool.  First off, it’s actually two journals in one.  The first journal is Hand in hand with Jesus which covers catechesis on the seven Sacraments and teaching of the Catholic faith.  There are also places where you or your child can record when they celebrate a sacrament.  The second journal is called Heart to heart with Jesus and it is filled with questions that will serve to get your child thinking and reflecting on his or her relationship with Jesus.

I think this journal is a wonderful way to help your child grow closer to Jesus and gain a deeper appreciation for our Catholic faith.  Because your child can fill in this journal with his or her unique answers to all of the questions, he or she will certainly come to treasure this special journal.

I was surprised initially at the depth and scope of information that can be recorded.
…What they end up with is a deep remembrance of their lives as well as a prompts to examine more deeply their walk in faith.
