Mother’s Day Rosary Spiritual Bouquet

We wanted to make a special present for Grandma and we wanted to celebrate the Month of Mary too!
We decided to make our own version of the Spiritual Bouquet of Prayer Petal Flowers
Since Bridget can’t really read yet, we didn’t need the prayers written on the petals as they are in the
Craft Kit.  I thought we would focus on the Joyful Mysteries and talk about all 5
as we pray one decade of the Rosary.
I printed out some of my favorite clipart from Nippert Artworks:  all 20 Mysteries of the Rosary.
I used my new 2.5″ hole punch that I purchased for the Frozen Juice Lid crafts.
Bridget liked picking the petal colors.
I was happy that we found some postcards from a Church we visited in Australia and could include this beautiful image in the center of the Joyful Mysteries flower.
We tried to lay out the picture before we started gluing, but I don’t think we realized how much the petals need to overlap.
I think Grandma will like this flower for Mother’s Day…especially when she learns that we were offering our prayers for her as we said the one decade of the Rosary while we made the flower.

Celebrate your child’s Journey of Faith!

This is our Journey with Jesus through Reconciliation and Holy Communion Craft Kit.
It includes 18 already researched, illustrated and formatted templates of prompting catechism and reflection questions.  As all our Cathletics Craft Kits, it comes with permission to photocopy for a whole class for one term or for all the kids in your family (who live with you) as they celebrate their First Sacraments!

There are suggestions for making your own scrapbook or using a store-bought scrapbook.  There are also instructions to create an Accordian Book.   In either case, there are plenty of catechism based questions, adorable cartoons drawn by 12 year old Kelly and prompting reflections about your child’s experience of the Sacraments, their prayerlife and their growing relationship with Jesus!

Work on a page a day, recording and reflecting about Baptism, the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Reconciliation, the Commandments, Sin, Holy Communion, the Mass, the Domestic Church, Qualities in my Family and Friendsall about Jesus, Mary and the Saints and reflections about Jesus and me and my prayerlife.

Our first silent movie…of our Catholic Products!

OK…sorry for the shameless thumbnail photo of Adam.
I guess that’s what You Tube chose, of all the images in the video.

This is my first Arma Dei silent movie…
for our upcoming NCEA show!

OK, it’s silent, because I couldn’t decide on a sound track.
It’s low res, because that’s all my computer can handle at the moment.
Please still check it out …and like it …and comment…and pass it around! Thanks!
